On February 16th we arranged the first eskate tournament in Scandinavia – EBOARDSTORE WINTER OPEN 2019.
24 riders competed for the glory on a rough gokart track in Uppsala, Sweden. It was an open competition, meaning all boards were welcome. And there were a lot of different brands represented; Evolve Skateboards, Mellow Boards, Boosted Boards, Enertion Raptor, Backfire, Lacroix, Inboard, Eskating.eu, Onewheel, Lou Board, Trampa Boards, Baja Boards, Exway, Riptide and even the monster boards from the Swedish company Bio Boards.
After 6 rounds and 25 heats we finally reached the final heat! Competing for the golden helmet were Carl on an Evolve GT Bamboo Street, Jens on a DIY Trampa and Tom from Evolve Germany on an Evolve GTX AT.
The final winner of the tournament and the golden helmet was Jens on his DIY Trampa!
It was an awesome day with great people and some action packed riding. From our side we really would like to thank everyone who joined the competition and the sponsors who made the day even better with some real great prizes, Mellow Boards, Evolve Skateboards, Thousand Helmets, LazyRolling, ShredLights and Backfire!
Hopefully this was just the first of many tournaments and events!
